Twitter Reacts To Kendrick Lamar's "Stretch Mark" Line On "HUMBLE"

Some think Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE." lyric about stretch marks is empowering to women, while others see it as veiled misogyny.

Though "HUMBLE." is the title, Kendrick Lamar is anything but on his new single. Over a warped snap beat from Mike Will Made-It, he raps about slaying the competition while satirizing hip-hop's dick-measuring contest in the process. He veers away from the shit-talking only for a few moments, such as when he raps about the type of woman he wants to come his way:

"I'm so fuckin' sick and tired of the Photoshop / Show me somethin' natural like afro on Richard Pryor / Show me somethin' natural like ass with some stretch marks"
