Here's the Interview: One-on-One with Bands!

1. How did you come into wanting to become a rapper?

It was pretty funny how I came to the thought of even becoming a rapper. I remember I was like 11 maybe, I was just on MTV looking at music videos and shit. I came across Lil Wayne's "Go DJ" video. I don't know what it was but from that moment on I started listening to rap way more and that inspired me to be just like that nigga. He's my idol. He's the reason I do what I do right now.

2. What separates your music from other artists? Describe yourself as an artist?

Well everybody's different in they own way, but my music just makes you catch good vibes. A lot of energy. It's a lot of diversity into every song, which is what truly makes me stand out. I'll switch up my flows and my voice throughout songs to keep it feeling fresh. As an artist, I think catching the vibe is the most important thing. The beat has to be right, and the song can't be overthought. I don't like writing for that reason. I want it to be natural, and be just what I'm feeling at that exact time.

3. What artists do you look up to?

I look up to Wayne, he's definitely one of the GOATS. My biggest influences have to be him, kanye, travis scott, lil uzi, and drake.

4. Why is pursuing your music important to you?

Music is my dream, and it's just always been a crucial part of my life. If I'm not doing this, then I don't want to be doing anything at all honestly. It's my passion you could say.

5. With you being from your city, did the sound of early hip-hop/rap influence your music in anyway?

The whole South FL has a good thing going on, and there's definitely a certain vibe from here that separates it from other areas. I'm not really into much music from here, so it hasn't really influenced my sound or the way I go about my art.

6. What direction you think you're settling for your city music scene?

The only direction I wanna be going is up. The underground is a cool spot, but that's not why I started making music. I'm aiming to be a superstar, worldwide type of shit. I can't settle for just being underground, I want the whole world or none of it.

7. What do you think will help your city artists become more mainstream?

Becoming more mainstream.... hmm. That all depends on a lot.

8. Where can fans find you? YouTube? SoundCloud?

For whoever hasn't heard my music, or wants to keep up with it, I'm on Soundcloud. That's my main platform for my music, but you can also hear my shit on YouTube/Spotify etc.
